As technology continues to shape how we work and learn, today’s students must be equipped with the skills necessary to navigate a digital world. Cybersecurity awareness and AI literacy are increasingly essential, and educators play an important role in preparing students for the future.
To support teachers in bringing these topics to the classroom, the CyberTEACH (Training Educators in AI & Cybersecurity Holistically) educator-focused program is designed specifically for non-STEM middle and high school educators (grades 7–12). Through hands-on sessions, educators learn how to infuse topics such as cybersecurity awareness, data privacy, online safety, ethical technology use, and emerging innovations in AI into their existing courses without needing a technical background.
CyberTEACH meets once per week, typically over four or five sessions, and offers exceptional benefits to participants, including a stipend and certificate of completion. Those selected to participate will not pay any cost or fee for the program. To ensure a collaborative and interactive experience, each cohort is limited to 20 participants. Please note that food, housing, and transportation are not provided.
2026 CyberTEACH sessions are hybrid and are offered in several Maryland counties.
